About Your Company

A dynamic Hong Kong-based investment management firm specializing in technology and AI-focused funds is expanding its business and creating a new headcount for a Finance & Operations Associate. This role will support key finance and operations functions ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain management accounts and financial statements to support financial reporting.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes budgeting and financial forecasting.

  • Manage payment processing with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Maintain and organize statutory filings and records for Cayman and BVI funds ensuring full compliance and readiness for regulatory inspections and audits.

  • Oversee company secretarial duties including administration of bank accounts (account opening maintenance and reconciliations) and management of business registration matters ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate and liaise effectively with external service providers auditors and legal counsel on company secretarial compliance and regulatory affairs to uphold governance standards.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for banks to resolve operational issues promptly.

  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments as directed by senior management to support business needs.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Accounting Professional Accountancy or a related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or fund accounting preferably within Fund Administration Fund Houses Asset Management firms or any related.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to a fast-paced start-up environment with a strong willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
  • Great Fluency in English Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of VBA is a plus.
