Key Responsibilities
As the Branch Manager you will lead a high-performing team and oversee all operations of the Dawson Creek branch. Your responsibilities will include:
Operational Leadership:
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch ensuring processes are efficient compliant and client-centric.
o Monitor key performance indicators to drive service excellence and operational success.
Team Development:
o Lead mentor and coach a team of insurance professionals to foster engagement skill development and accountability.
o Collaborate with HR and leadership to manage recruitment onboarding and performance planning.
Client Experience:
o Ensure the branch consistently delivers exceptional service to both new and existing clients.
o Champion a customer-first mindset by modeling solution-oriented service and building long-term relationships.
Community Engagement & Growth:
o Represent the company at community events and local business functions to build visibility and foster goodwill.
o Identify local business development opportunities to support regional growth targets.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education & Experience:
o Insurane designation (CAIB CIP or CRM) an assett
o Minimum 5 years of insurance industry experience including experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Technical Skills:
o Level 2 General Insurance License
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with broker management systemsis an asset.
Key Competencies:
o Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of team success.
o Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational abilities.
o A community-minded approach with a passion for mentoring and client service.
