Pensions Litigation Associate

Brief
We are looking to recruit a Pensions Litigation Associate who is NQ-6 years PQE to join the pensions team in our London or Manchester office.
The Pensions Team
Pinsent Masons LLP has one of the largest and strongest pensions law teams in the UK spanning Glasgow Edinburgh London Birmingham Manchester and Leeds and advises clients on all non-contentious and contentious pensions law issues.
Our pensions team includes 19 partners and around 40 other lawyers based in our offices across the UK. As well as day to day advice to pension schemes of all shapes and sizes the teams work includes:
The Pensions team acts for large and complex pension schemes and financial institutions on matters such as restructurings de-risking and investment arrangement. The group is sought after for its expertise in pension buy-in and buy-out transactions as well as for its specialist pensions litigation team.
Our pensions litigation team is led by Partner Hayley Goldstone a nationally recognised expert in pensions litigation . The team specialises in resolving complex issues including professional negligence rectification claims and regulatory investigations. Known for its strategic insight and pragmatic approach the team advises trustees employers and insurers across a wide range of sectors. With deep technical expertise and a collaborative mindset the pensions litigation team delivers commercially focused solutions to some of the most challenging pensions litigation matters. The Candidate what are we looking for
The successful candidate will have gained experience in pensions and/or litigation.
Candidates need to combine technical excellence with strong communication skills plenty of common sense and the ability to develop good relationships with colleagues and clients. Equally important they should be commercially aware and should be enthusiastic about business development with experience of face to face client development and networking.
