Job Description

Position: Executive / Officer / Assistant Manager Compensation & Benefits
Location: Indiranagar Bangalore
Working Days: 6 Days Office
Reporting To: Head of Human Resources
Headquarters: Mumbai
Type: Individual Contributor (IC) Role
Availability: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Job Summary

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits professional to join our HR team. This is a new individual contributor role focused on the design implementation and management of compensation structures and benefits programs that attract motivate and retain talent. The role will require execution and operational efficiency along with strong analytical capability and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities Compensation Strategy & Management
  • Develop and implement competitive compensation strategies aligned with business goals

  • Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to maintain pay competitiveness

  • Manage annual salary reviews incentive plans and variable pay

  • Support business leaders with compensation decisions for promotions adjustments and new hires

Benefits Administration
  • Oversee employee benefits programs (insurance retirement wellness etc.)

  • Evaluate current offerings and suggest improvements for effectiveness and cost-efficiency

  • Collaborate with vendors and brokers to ensure high-quality service delivery

Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure all compensation and benefits practices adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements

  • Support audits and statutory reporting

Analytics & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate C&B data in HR systems

  • Prepare compensation reports dashboards and management insights

  • Interpret reports from external consultants like Mercer & Aon

Employee Communication & Support
  • Create employee-facing communication on C&B policies

  • Address and resolve queries related to pay and benefits

Key Requirements Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or related field

Experience
  • Up to 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits

  • Experience in designing and executing C&B structures in mid to large-sized organizations

  • Strong background in C&B implementation and execution

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel

  • Familiarity with Google Suite

  • Experience with HRIS systems

  • Knowledge of Percentile Matrix

  • Ability to interpret Mercer & Aon reports

Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • High level of integrity discretion and confidentiality
