Job Description

Job Summary (List Format):
Windows Engineer/Virtualization CR273

- Provide direct support and primary responsibility for Active Directory and Windows OS environments across all Client locations.
- Deliver Tier 3 support leading troubleshooting to quickly resolve system issues and maximize uptime.
- Develop and execute scripts (PowerShell Orchestrator etc.) for information extraction automation and task integration.
- Manage deploy and maintain SCOM infrastructure and related monitoring tools.
- Oversee high-level architectural design and long-term planning (3-5 years outlook) for Windows infrastructure.
- Ensure ongoing performance security and compliance of Active Directory and Windows environments.
- Lead the setup administration and automated implementation of Windows Server environments.
- Plan design implement and operate Windows and Virtual infrastructure projects.
- Support and optimize VMware virtualization environments.
- Re-architect and manage Microsoft DFS Group Policies DNS and DHCP infrastructure.
- Assist with server migrations between on-premises and cloud environments (Azure AWS etc.).
- Participate in capacity planning disaster recovery and ITIL-based architecture standardization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and infrastructure issues.
- Provide both remote and on-site technical assistance to teams and customers.
- Offer infrastructure design deployment troubleshooting performance optimization and maintenance strategies.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to internal engineering peers; lead technical staff responsibilities.
- Drive requirements gathering technical due diligence and infrastructure design initiatives.
- Enforce server security policies monitor access and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Complete related tasks to support organizational information systems and mission as needed.

Requirements:
- 7 years experience in system engineering/infrastructure and customer support.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Server 2008Rand security.
- 5 years with enterprise corporate infrastructure design SCOM/Orchestrator Active Directory and datacenter equipment support.
- 4 years scripting and automation experience.
- Knowledge of Windows Linux Unix OS networking and security concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting project management and leadership skills.
- Experience with server hardening vulnerability remediation and SCCM.
- Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred.
- Microsoft Server Security Certification desired.
