Inetum is looking for a Virtualization Administrator (Level 2/3 N2/N3) to manage optimize and troubleshoot complex virtualized infrastructures across multiple platforms.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support virtualization solutions using VMware XenServer or KVM ensuring optimal performance for critical workloads.
- Design and manage virtual networks storage and compute resources integrating seamlessly with the existing IT landscape.
- Perform patching upgrades migrations and hardening (CIS benchmarks) across virtual environments.
- Monitor system performance and availability proactively addressing issues to ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical incidents in a multi-site virtualized environment.
- Automate routine tasks and improve efficiency using PowerShell Python or Bash scripting.
- Attend and support Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) tests.
- Provide on-call support and ensure SLA adherence for incident resolution.
- Review and resolve support tickets ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Document all procedures configurations and best practices related to virtualization operations.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years experience in virtualization or infrastructure roles (N2/N3 level).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related area.
- Proficient in VMware XenServer or KVM virtualization technologies.
- Solid understanding of virtual network architecture storage and compute resource management.
- Experience with system patching upgrades migrations and CIS security hardening.
- Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell Python or Bash.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex incidents.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and functional teams.
- Fluent in English (B2C1 level).
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing (DRP).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow Jira).
- Understanding of ITIL practices for change incident and problem management.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud or container-based virtualization environments (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
