Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a permanent full-time Clinic Administrator to join our team at CAMRI.  You will have great people skills with the ability to navigate a patient management and booking system.  You will be part of the Team being the first point of contact for patients doctors and researchers. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Actioning patient referrals.
  • Scheduling MRI appointments between different e-platforms and in coordination with MRI technologists other clinicians insurance providers or research coordinators and the patients or research participants.
  • Providing patients/participants and their whanau researchers volunteers and all other visitors a warm and professional reception at CAMRI.
  • Manage incoming communications efficiently responding to requests within the agreed timeframe.
  • Compiling and sending MRI reports to referring practitioners and researchers.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency.

This is a fulltime (37.5 hours per week) permanent position. The salary range for this role is between $54405 - $65700 dependent on skills and experience.

We are looking for someone with experience with Practice Management Systems who thrives working in a face-to-face environment.

You will need the following skills and experience:

  • Prior administration work experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment beneficial particularly in a radiology or medical practice.
  • Familiarity with reception work and customer service environments.
  • Comfortable using computer-based booking systems.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • A strong team player.
  • Able to work to and meet deadlines.
  • Highly accurate for data entry a detail-oriented careful worker.
  • Knowledge of some medical terminology.
  • Able to show initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
