Collins Aerospace is excited to welcome a talented Technician to our dynamic Repair Station Quality team. In this pivotal role youll be responsible for ensuring quality product is received into the repair station by performing conformity inspections and coordinating non-conforming product dispositions within the compliance of AS9100 and FAA CFR 145 Repair Station requirements

What You Will Do:

• Performs inspection of products received from approved suppliers using a variety of measuring devices and an approved sampling plan.
• Uses predetermined methods operations setups and specifications to verify conformance of arriving in-process and completed products.
• Raises notifications of non-conformances quarantines non-conforming product and when approved to do so provides disposition. Assists with the coordination of non-conforming product control activities.
• Performs reviews and assessments of area/program performance. Identifies and addresses when a need for improvement is identified.
• Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect.
• Reports directly to and supports other duties where delegated by the Repair Station Quality Manager.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Must be able to read write and understand English
• Must be eligible for an FAA Repairmen Certification per 14 CFR Part 65.
• Must be detail oriented with good communication skills.
• Product inspection experience or technical background is preferred.

The salary range for this role is 40000 USD - 70000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
