Join Growing Sales Team as a Lead Inside Sales Representative in Grand Rapids!
Are you a customer-focused sales professional with a knack for leadership and a passion for industrial solutions Our client is a trusted leader in industrial distribution dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to customers across Michigan and beyond. Due to internal promotions we are looking for a Lead Inside Sales Representative to join their sales team.
In this vital role youll be the first point of contact for valued customers providing expert product information efficiently processing orders and offering crucial support to the outside sales team. Your ability to build strong relationships guide your colleagues and deliver outstanding service will be key to your success.
Lead the Quoting Process: Prepare and manage accurate and speedy quotes for industrial parts equipment and solutions.
Engage with Customers: Respond to inbound calls and emails providing insightful product recommendations pricing and order details.
Coordinate with Vendors: Communicate effectively with manufacturers and suppliers to secure pricing availability and lead times.
Guide Your Team: Support and mentor junior inside sales representatives and collaborate closely with outside sales on major accounts and opportunities.
Manage Data: Maintain precise customer and quote data using our internal systems (experience with Epicor products is a plus!).
Work independently multi-task effectively set priorities and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.
3 years of inside sales experience preferably in industrial distribution (e.g. MRO electrical automation fluid power or mechanical products).
2 years of experience in a lead role.
Proven ability to generate technical quotes in a B2B environment.
A positive attitude and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel).
A high school diploma or higher.
A valid drivers license.
