Job Description

To support our finance team we are searching for a Financial Planning & Analysis Controller to be based in our Munich office.

Tasks

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead and manage the annual budgeting process quarterly reforecasts and long-term strategic planning.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast identify variances and provide in-depth analysis of key drivers.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports presentations and dashboards for management executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted financial business partner to various departments (e.g. Marketing Buying Tech) providing financial guidance and support on strategic initiatives.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic projects investment decisions and business initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial planning analysis and reporting processes and tools.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in FP&A Controlling or a similar analytical finance role preferably within the e-commerce retail or luxury industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial planning software Lucanet is a significant plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English both written and spoken. German language skills are a plus.
  • Mindset: Proactive results-oriented highly organized and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
