Salary: $29.00 - $30.00/HR
Shift: 6 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Service Technician with strong expertise in electrical controls and industrial machinery. The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and repairs for client machinery across North America including Mexico. This is a hands-on travel-heavy role for someone who can work independently while collaborating with production and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve equipment irregularities and malfunctions with effective solutions.
- Conduct daily inspections of cranes plant equipment and the shop air supply system including filter replacements.
- Perform quality checks and complete all required documentation and checklists accurately.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs and ensure adherence to safety requirements on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
- Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives in process quality and safety.
- Install and commission new equipment as required.
- Work independently while maintaining clear communication within a team environment.
- Adjust machinery and equipment processes to meet operational needs.
- Implement long-term corrective actions to address recurring machine issues.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Operate a forklift to support maintenance tasks as needed.
- Operate a scissor lift/genie boom to access equipment and perform required maintenance.
Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or servicing press equipment.
- Electrical controls experience required.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout North America (25% of time) including Mexico.
- Completion of a related technical field trade certificate or apprenticeship.
- GED/High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced travel-intensive environment.
