Job Title: Commercial Roofing Estimator
Location: Baton Rogue LA//Huston TX
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team in Baton Rogue LA//Huston TX. This is a full-time on-site position responsible for evaluating large-scale commercial roofing projects and providing precise cost estimates. The role involves analyzing blueprints specifications and site conditions to determine material requirements labor needs and project timelines ultimately supporting client satisfaction and internal operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications blueprints and site conditions to determine the scope of work and project requirements.
- Calculate material labor and equipment costs for commercial roofing projects.
- Prepare detailed and accurate project cost estimates and proposals for clients.
- Utilize The Edge estimating software to ensure consistency and accuracy in all estimates.
- Communicate effectively with clients contractors and internal teams to clarify project details and address any questions.
- Collaborate with the project management team to align estimates with project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends roofing materials and best practices to enhance estimating accuracy and project outcomes.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Estimator.
- Proficiency in construction estimating with a focus on commercial roofing projects.
- Experience using The Edge estimating software is required.
- Strong understanding of low-slope roof systems and commercial roofing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of additional commercial roofing systems is a plus.
- Technical expertise in roofing materials and industry standards.
