Job Title: Commercial Roofing Sales Representative
Location: Knoxville TN

Position Summary:
The Commercial Roofing Sales Representative will focus on growing the customer base through outside sales networking and strategic lead generation. Youll work directly with building owners facility managers and general contractors to offer tailored roofing solutions that solve problems and protect assets.
Responsibilities:
Generate new business through cold calling referrals and in-person networking
Conduct on-site inspections to identify roofing issues and propose system solutions
Build and maintain lasting relationships with key decision-makers
Develop and present detailed project proposals and estimates in collaboration with estimators
Manage the entire sales process from lead to close including negotiations and contract signing
Stay informed about roofing systems materials warranties and building codes
Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities pipeline updates and client communications
Represent the company at trade shows community events and professional networking groups
Requirements:
2 years of experience in outside sales preferably in commercial roofing construction or building materials
Proven ability to close deals and manage a sales pipeline
Knowledge of TPO EPDM PVC and metal roofing systems is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills-both written and verbal
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a hunter mentality
Comfortable climbing ladders and walking roofs during inspections
Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling to property managers general contractors or facility owners
Background in roofing construction management or technical estimating
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce JobNimbus)
