The PMO requires professionals who can be assigned to various state departments in Maine according to project requirements. This position directly reports to the PMO Director of Transformation Management.
The core responsibilities include conducting detailed business requirements analysis documenting processes and possibly performing user acceptance testing adhering to industry best practices. Success in this role necessitates strong analytical skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Candidates must exhibit a systematic approach to business analysis be collaborative and possess excellent communication skills to articulate intricate concepts clearly fostering transparency and open lines of communication.
The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with various teams to define business requirements that align with the projects objectives. Key responsibilities include:
Working with the Project Manager to establish a clear project pathway and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Conducting Gap Analysis by designing current-state and future-state business
Required Skill Set/Skill Level/Experience process workflows as well as executing business requirements gathering workshops to identify opportunities for process improvement pinpoint process bottlenecks and eliminate redundancies.
Developing comprehensive functional and non-functional business requirements for solution planning.
Conducting thorough investigations and documentation of clearly defined business rules as part of process mapping activities
