Job Description
Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single persons daily commute to reducing humanitys collective environmental footprint - weve got huge goals.
Together with the Hannover Region and Hannovers public transport operator STRA we have been operating the sprinti one of the most successful on-demand public transport projects in Germany with around 130000 passengers every month for over four years.
As a Hub Manager you will take care of the day-to-day business of our sprinti service in Hanover and ensure that passengers are reliably transported by our drivers. You will drive continuous improvements and have unique opportunities to help shape the future of passenger transportation in the region.
What Youll Do:
- You take ownership of the day-to-day operations and are responsible for key operational KPIs for our on-demand public transport service sprinti
- As the General Managers right hand for operations you ensure that revenue and quality targets are met
- You are one of the direct supervisors of our driving staff and support them throughout their journey - from onboarding and performance reviews to development as well as organizing events and training sessions.
- You manage driver deployment based on demand through efficient shift planning
- You collaborate with our central operations teams to ensure excellent service quality and contribute to projects aimed at centralizing and automating processes
- You actively contribute ideas on how we can continuously improve the sprinti service
Who You Are:
- You enjoy working in a team and engaging directly with our driving staff on site
- You have experience taking responsibility for team members
- You stay calm under pressure and always stridke the right tone - whether youre speaking with senior leaders at our partner organizations or with drivers
- You are data-driven and use key metrics to make decisions and set priorities
- You have German language skills at C1 level or higher and B2 in English
- Youre always ready to listen and enjoy driving forward the topics that matter to your driving staff
- You hold a valid Class B drivers license

- Salary Range: 40000-55000 per year. Final salary will be determined by the candidates experience knowledge and skills
