Infrastructure Solution Engineering will play a pivotal leadership role overseeing the strategic planning design and implementation of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions aligned with business goals. This leader will lead a team of Infrastructure Solution Engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust secure and scalable technology solutions. Common initiatives include cloud migration cybersecurity enhancements network upgrades disaster recovery planning IT infrastructure modernization and automation improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Leadership:Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals. This includes overseeing technology roadmaps driving innovation through continuous improvement and rapid prototyping and leading and mentoring engineering teams.

  • Infrastructure Solution Design and Implementation:Lead software engineering and delivery ensuring vision and accountability. Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure like networks servers and storage systems. Ensure adherence to security and compliance protocols including industry standards. Manage the full lifecycle of solution development.

  • Security and Compliance:Drive security and compliance through robust architecture processes and tooling especially in environments requiring certifications. Implement services based on Secure by Design principles and support Incident Response teams as a subject matter expert.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure goals with business needs and manage vendor relationships. Partner with leadership to support initiatives and provide insights and work across technical domains to enable productivity for development teams.

  • Operational Excellence and Automation:Drive efficiencies through automation and process streamlining. Institutionalize quality engineering through test automation CI/CD observability and reliability practices. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans ensuring system availability and regularly testing plans.


QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Advanced degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
2. Eight years progressive related experience in managing enterprise technology organizations combined with overall twelve years progressive related experience in enterprise technology.
3. Demonstrated experience in technology organization management financial management risk management people management issue resolution influencing team members and other stakeholders conducting difficult negotiations and managing to stringent timelines for project deliverables.
4. Demonstrated superior understanding of business and technology organization resources priorities needs and policies.
5. Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of complex programs and projects.
6. Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous assignments.
7. Demonstrated executive level verbal and written communication skills.
8. Superior working knowledge of business matters finance planning and forecasting.
9. Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint Excel Word Visio Project)
