For more information please visit Statement This ongoing internship with the Division of Social Services provides a meaningful opportunity to gain hands-on experience in direct client service and case management within a high-volume trauma-informed environment. Interns will conduct holistic trauma-focused interviews to assess client needs and determine eligibility for various emergency assistance programs including shelter support eviction prevention and other crisis services. Interns will also assist with case management navigate a multiline telephone system and provide front desk and lobby support to ensure smooth client flow and responsive service. This role requires strong customer service skills the ability to manage and de-escalate challenging situations and comfort working with individuals in crisis. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication organizational and interviewing skills along with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
