Job Description
Employee and Work Scheduling Review and schedule daily work assigning individuals to ensure facility needs are met including tracking outside haulers bringing waste into the facility and monitoring outbound disposal schedules (sludge used oil non-conforming waste and industrial services).
Chemical Management Monitor and order treatment chemicals ensuring proper stock levels and usage are maintained.
Training and Staff Development Train new hires on facility operations ensuring they understand safety maintenance and operational procedures.
Waste Treatment and Discharge Monitor and ensure all waste is treated properly and safely discharged according to regulations.
Facility Maintenance and Safety Assist with scheduled maintenance of facility assets maintain maintenance logs and monitor facility safety ensuring proper safety equipment is available.
Upcharge Criteria and Profile Compliance Communicate and track upcharge criteria ensuring all incoming loads meet the profile requirements.
Housekeeping Standards Maintain the highest housekeeping standards across both the facility and laboratory.
Laboratory Management Order and manage lab consumables perform equipment maintenance and ensure proper calibration and functionality of all lab equipment.
Waste Sample Analysis and Profile Management Track analyze and test waste samples for treatability maintaining lab records and sending out in-house samples for disposal profile maintenance.
Compliance and Reporting Facilitate monthly MMSD compliance and self-reporting sampling events send compliance samples for certified analysis and maintain all discharge and monthly compliance logs.
