Job Summary
TITLE:
STIPEND OPPORTUNITY: Equitable Services (School Year: 25/26)
REPORTS TO:
OSS Deputy Chief of Services and Accountability or their designee
STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Office of Specialized Services (OSS) seeks existing BTU staff to provide Equitable Services support. The support will:
Child count:
- Tracking caseloads in order to provide accurate child count numbers
- Reviewing BPS records/IEPs vs. private school records for children included in count
- Coordinating with homeschool parents to ensure accurate count
Service Plans:
- Coordinating creation of service plans for eligible students with principals
- Sharing this information with families
- Coordinate service plan meetings for each student on service plan
- Write service plans and maintain them
TERMS:
- The stipend will be paid at the hourly rate of $59.39 and once the responsibilities are completed.
- OSS expects this to take between 20 and 60 hours total.
- OSS is only compensating the position for duties and administrative tasks performed outside of the regular work day. It is expected that the position tracks all time and tasks performed outside of the regular work day.
- The provider is responsible for completing all documentation as expected.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Currently working in Boston Public Schools
Required: Appropriate licensure
Required: Member of BTU bargaining unit
Preferred: Fluency in a language other than english.
