Our hospital client has a direct hire opportunity for a motivated Accounting / Senior Financial Analyst (Days) in Owosso MI.
Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant - Owosso MI
Salary: $35.07/hour - $45.20/hour (dependent upon experience)
This is a fully onsite position.
Join Healthcare as a Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant! Perform general accounting functions prepare financial reports and provide expert financial consulting to the leadership team. Contribute to patient and family-centered care while ensuring compliance with GAAP.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Researching accounting issues for compliance with GAAP
- Analyzing budget variations and results
- Assisting with strategic planning and annual tax returns
- Coordinating accounting matters with departments
- Providing leadership and mentoring to team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting
- 5 years of professional accounting experience
- Experience with healthcare institutions and public accounting preferred
- CPA license strongly preferred
- Knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 842 standards
