You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe purpose of this position is to provide direct support to all community outreach and developmental programs and events as directed by the Senior Manager Marketing & Development. This includes fundraising initiatives on-site and community-based programming donor connections and other specialty programs/events. Supervision of personnel event management volunteers and supplies.
Assists with the development and promotion of community wellness programs. Builds relationships and assists with donor stewardship.
Seek and secure funding for Family Wellness non-profit programs medical wellness opportunities and annual campaigns.
Plan organize and facilitate donor events community outreach opportunities and celebrations to recognize success.
Manage Family Wellness contracts events and reservations.
Work to raise awareness about and represent Family Wellness through participation in outreach and partner activities in the community and through various communication channels.
Partners with area organizations to grow and provide collaborative programming for the community
Fosters connections and education with community and Family Wellness members.
Provides program and event management support with planning and coordination of fundraising and special events.
Assists with special community outreach projects and grant research/writing.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelors degree in community health public health education physical education exercise science business or related field preferred. Two years experience working in the field of study is required.
Effective interpersonal and customer service skills leadership skills and knowledge of fundraising and event management is required. Must be organized detail oriented and able meet deadlines. Knowledge of wellness non-profits and fitness industry is strongly preferred. Experience in program design and event management is preferred. Evening and weekend availability required on occasion.
