POSITION: Digital Learning Resources & Partnerships Coordinator

SUPERVISOR: Director for the Center for Online Learning (COL)

DEPARTMENT: Center for Online Learning (COL)

LOCATION: On-campus located in Tiffin OH

JOB TYPE: Full-time


Tiffin University (TU) was founded in 1888 and offers accredited undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration criminal justice social sciences creative and media arts humanities education sciences technology and health. The Universitys campus in Tiffin Ohio blends traditional historic and modern buildings creating a vibrant and welcoming educational community for its students faculty and staff. Students can pursue associate undergraduate and graduate programs both on campus and online as well as at Terra State Community College. In addition TU offers Bachelor in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees in Bucharest Romania and educational opportunities for students from Switzerland and Latin America. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Digital Learning Resources & Partnerships Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting and optimizing the universitys online learning infrastructure through coordination of digital textbook integrations instructional resource platforms course partnerships and faculty support systems. This role ensures that digital content external learning resources and faculty assignments are implemented smoothly across platforms in alignment with Tiffin Universitys instructional goals and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Textbook & Resource Management:

  • Manage online textbook adoptions using VitalSources Collect Compete and Connect platforms for all non-Cengage materials.
  • Maintain active coordination with vendors and representatives including Pearson and Cengage to share and update course material requirements.
  • Maintain and regularly update the master database of online textbooks.
  • Coordinate the implementation and oversight of online course labs including platforms such as McGraw-Hill and Harvard Business Cases.

Instructor & Platform Coordination:

  • Manage instructor enrollments each term within AVENU ensuring timely and accurate course access.
  • Oversee the maintenance and scheduling of Acadeum cross-registration partnerships including regular updates and communications.
  • Manage the TUOnlineResources website project and ensure current comprehensive resources are available for instructors and students.
  • Update and maintain relevant content related to the COL unit on the Tiffin University website.

Partnerships & Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between COL and external digital resource providers to ensure seamless integration and troubleshooting.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including IT Deans and course designers to ensure alignment with academic and operational objectives.
  • Participate in strategic discussions to support COL initiatives related to online learning content partnerships and digital innovation.

Academic Credit Evaluation:

  • Coordinate and participate in Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) reviews including attending meetings evaluating student submissions and making award recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES FOR THE JOB

Education

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.

Other

  • Demonstrated experience in academic technology online education or digital resource coordination.
  • Strong familiarity with online learning platforms (e.g. VitalSource Pearson McGraw-Hill Moodle).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced academic environment.
  • Experience with web content management and platform-based scheduling tools preferred.
