About the Role
Are you an experienced Project Administrator with a strong technical background in low-voltage systems structured cabling and networking This 6-month contract (1099) is a unique opportunity to support infrastructure projects that directly impact some of the most high-profile events in the country.
Were looking for a detail-oriented highly organized self-starter who can manage scheduling documentation and stakeholder coordination in environments that demand technical fluency and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning and execution with a strong understanding of low-voltage system requirements including voice/data cabling fiber optics and access control.
- Track key milestones deliverables and budgets for infrastructure and network deployment projects.
- Maintain and organize technical documentation including floor plans wiring diagrams and installation logs.
- Coordinate field team schedules vendor workstreams and material delivery timelines.
- Ensure all site work aligns with industry standards such as BICSI NEC and ANSI/TIA.
- Serve as a communication bridge between cross-functional teams including engineers installers and client contacts.
What You Bring
- 2 years of experience in project coordination or administration preferably in a construction telecom or IT infrastructure environment.
- Demonstrated technical background in low-voltage systems structured cabling and networking technologies.
- Familiarity with BICSI installation standards termination and testing procedures and installation best practices.
- Working knowledge of cabling materials (Cat5e/6/6a fiber types) racks panels patching and labeling standards.
- Strong proficiency with project tracking tools (Asana MS Project or Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (e.g. riser diagrams floor plans cable run schedules).
- Self-motivated independent worker with excellent communication and organizational skills.
