Ty Parc supports a range of individuals and families who have experienced homelessness and have varying needs such as mental health issues substance misuse issues and learning difficulties. As an Engagement Project Worker you will engage clients into meaningful activity and liaise with the clients and their Key-worker to help achieve their support plan and goals.

You will play a key part in enabling individuals to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives.
Every day is different and every day you would learn new skills and have the opportunity to work with a variety of agencies such as housing DWP social services and health visitors.
This role is based in Ty Parc Tredegar but part of your role will be to engage with clients accessing support services across Blaenau Gwent. This may mean holding engagement activities and sessions away from scheme.
Day to Day Duties:
Our motivation is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs including alcohol misuse mental health substance misuse victims of domestic abuse care leavers refugees and offending behaviour. You will work with a range of different personalities and behaviours so you will need to be able to adapt your approach to engage with a diverse cliental.
