JOB Project Engineer
LOCATION Stockport
TERM Permanent
SALARYper annum dependent on experience
My client Designs and Manufacturers specialist mechanical products. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Stockport on a permanent basis.
The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- At least 2-5 years experience in a similar position
- NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant subject
- Experience with machinery and components is desirable
- Can understand and read CAD drawings and sketches (AutoCAD and SolidWorks)
- Background in Mechanical Engineering and Projects
- Excellent communication teamwork and leadership skills
The Project Engineer role will involve:
- Designing and delivering process projects
- Managing project delivery from sales to client handover
- Working to client specifications and expectations
- Overseeing deadlines budgets and timescales
- Providing technical controls expertise
- Some travel to attend customer meetings and site visits
