Job Description:
- The conference and events graduate student will assist the Logistic & Events Specialist with the logistics and planning of campus conferences and events special projects and management of student staff.
- Assist the Logistic & Events Specialist with special projects as needed
- Create spreadsheets and documents to track and analyze event information
- Assist with training and oversight of undergraduate student workers
- Communicate with campus partners to plan and execute conferences and events
- Organize and create event processes
- Strong personal organizational motivational communication writing and computer skills. Proficiency with MicroSoft Office for reports spreadsheet and data generation.
- Able to work independently with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A strong desire to learn and grow as a facilities and event management professional.
- Possess strong technical skills and able to diagnose and fix technology-related issues as they arise.
