Job Description
The Position
Marcus Construction is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to support the growth of our brand across our Commercial Industrial Agribusiness and Dome sectors. This role collaborates with the Marketing Director and internal teams to create visually appealing designs for various marketing materials including printed materials tradeshow materials digital graphics and social media content. The position fosters strong relationships across departments and helps drive consistent effective communication both internally and externally.
Essential Duties
- Develop a strong understanding of our companys products and services to create compelling copy that strengthens all marketing channels
- Communicate and collaborate closely with project teams to identify and fulfill their design needs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across a diverse client base while supporting our core values and objectives
- Create content based on project requirements often involving brainstorming sketching and using Creative Suite software to produce print and tradeshow materials digital graphics social media content logos illustrations brochures website layouts and other visual content
- Focus on brand consistency to ensure all designs align with company brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity
- Adapt designs for various platforms including websites social media email campaigns blogs videos and print materials
- Manage projects from concept to completion - including scheduling budgets and meeting deadlines
- Ensure designs are visually appealing accurate and error-free prior to final production
- Manage SEO SEM and Google Ads account; create strategies and goals to target new markets; track performance and trends via Google Analytics; and manage budgets
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets
- Assist the Marketing Director with strategic marketing plans and initiatives execution of assigned elements of those plans including but not limited to print online social media email video and other collateral
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design Marketing or related field
- Minimum of two years experience designing and producing marketing materials
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite required (Illustrator InDesign Photoshop Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook); Mac-based environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to create original distinctive designs
- Strong attention to detail a creative eye and exceptional time management are required
- Open-minded and adaptable team player with a passion to learn and think outside the box
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of grammar punctuation and spelling conventions
- Experience with Google platforms SEO and SEM
