LOCATION
This role is based in Ireland. We have an office hub in Dublin available for those who prefer a hybrid model where you can spend time with colleagues in-person. You will need to be able to commute to our office hub as required from time to time.
WHO YOULL WORK WITH
The Commercial Finance team is a dynamic high-impact team that plays a pivotal role Hostelworld as it is responsible for developing & maintaining commercial & financial performance tools which facilitate managerial decision making.
The Commercial Finance team is responsible for the Budget & Forecasting Performance Analysis & Decision Support Investor Relations and Corporate Finance.
We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our team who is passionate about connecting finance to every corner of the businessand excited to elevate how we make commercial decisions
WHAT YOULL DO
Within the Commercial Finance team you will:
- Lead annual budgeting quarterly forecasts and rolling re-forecasts ensuring alignment with commercial and operational targets
- Build maintain and enhance financial models dashboards and management reports that drive actionable insights
- Support preparation of investor decks board materials and quarterly financial updates; ensure consistency and clarity in external presentations
- Conduct benchmarking monitor industry trends competitor earnings and market sentiment; translate insights into adjustments in investor messaging
- Maintain analyst consensus target prices and performance metrics to support internal decision-making
- Support M&A due diligence cash flow and working capital forecasting and other strategic finance initiatives
- Conduct miscellaneous financial analyses as necessary
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA with min 6 years PQE
- Proven track record in commercial finance FP&A or similar rolesideally in fast-paced scaling environments. Skilled in budgeting forecasting and financial modelling.
- Demonstrable attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and to navigate uncertainty/ambiguity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for regular interaction with senior management
- Driven by an appetite for continuous learning and a growth mindset
- Interest for the Travel / Tech space
