Job Description
Location: Pittsburgh PA 15232
Weekly Pay Rate: $2400 - $2600
Duration: 12-week contract
Shift: Variable shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and general radiology procedures.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient reactions.
- Utilize imaging equipment (gamma camera SPECT PET) to capture images.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of radioactive materials.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor equipment for functionality and safety; report malfunctions promptly.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists physicians and healthcare team members.
- Educate patients regarding procedures and address any concerns.
- Certification: ARRT (R) and/or NMTCB required
- License: Pennsylvania State Licensure
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- BLS Certification: Required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
