Job Description
Location: Pittsburgh PA 15224
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Duration: 12-week contract
Weekly Pay: $1512 $1656
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Perform general radiographic exams (X-rays) on patients as ordered by physicians.
- Properly position patients and ensure optimal image quality.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment.
- Follow all radiation safety protocols.
- Review and verify physician orders and patient identification.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the hospital system.
- Communicate effectively with patients physicians and other healthcare staff.
- Ensure proper infection control and safety procedures are followed.
- Float between units or locations as needed.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Radiology/X-Ray Tech experience (hospital experience)
- Prior travel/contract experience
- Licensure/Certifications:
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- BLS Certification from AHA (Required)
- State of Pennsylvania Radiologic Technologist License
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
