Job Description
Location: Pittsburgh PA 15219
Weekly Pay Rate: $2106 - $2262
Duration: 12-week contract
Shift: 09:00 PM - 07:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 39 per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Position patients properly to obtain quality diagnostic images
- Practice proper radiation safety techniques to protect patients staff and self
- Verify patient identification and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
- Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean safe work environment
- Participate in continuing education and training as needed
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 or more years of verifiable experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Valid state license in Pennsylvania
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Ability to work night shifts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
