Job Description
Travel Radiology/X-Ray Tech Permanent Role
Location: York PA 17408
Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 - $2320
Duration: 12-week contract
Shift: 8-hr Variable shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Properly position patients and select appropriate technical factors to ensure high-quality images
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot radiographic equipment
- Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles for radiation safety
- Ensure accurate documentation of exams and patient information in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Communicate effectively with patients explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other team members to support diagnostic workflows
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have 2 or more years of recent verifiable radiology/X-ray specialty experience
- ARRT certification (R) required
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license for the state of Pennsylvania
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of radiology equipment
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
Note:
- Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 75 miles.
