Position Overview
C&S is seeking a full-time Project Environmental Scientist or Engineer to join our Environmental Service Group in our Buffalo New York office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing and serving as technical expert on regulatory compliance projects spanning a variety of technical areas such as petroleum and chemical bulk storage storm water hazardous waste etc.
- Complete marketing and business development activities
- Provide proposal development project estimating and technical document preparation
- Complete field activities
- Prepare various technical reports permits and plans
- Overseeing project financials and staff execution of project tasks
- Complete quality assurance review of others work
- Provide staff management and development
Skills/Education/Experience
- Knowledge of local state and federal environmental regulations
- 5 years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental permitting & compliance report writing data management & interpretation project coordination and managing clients preferred
- A bachelors degree in environmental science environmental civil or chemical engineering geology or related programs
- Strong technical writing analytical and problem-solving skills
- A valid drivers license
- A willingness to travel and undertake overnight travel if necessary
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits
$70000 - $90000/year*
*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience geographical location and market conditions education/training certifications and other credentials as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
