Job ID: JO002-PNG-A(A45) Senior Nail Technician
Position: Senior Nail Technician
Salary: PGK 3000 PGK 4000/month
Working hours: 8 hours
Working location: Port Moresby Papua New Guinea
Job Summary:
The Senior Nail Technician is responsible for providing high-quality nail care and aesthetic services including advanced techniques in nail art extensions gel and acrylic applications. This role requires strong technical proficiency creativity and customer service skills. The technician will also support training and skill development of junior staff ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction across all branches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform professional manicure and pedicure services including cuticle care nail shaping exfoliation and polishing.
- Apply gel polish acrylic overlays nail extensions and nail art designs using brushes and other tools.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nail trends techniques and hygiene practices.
- Provide waxing threading and massage services as needed (additional advantage).
- Conduct training sessions workshops or lectures for junior staff and new hires.
- Ensure cleanliness sanitation and maintenance of tools and workstations according to health and safety standards.
- Offer expert product recommendations and maintain excellent customer service at all times.
- Support the Spa Manager in maintaining quality standards addressing client concerns and contributing to promotional activities.
- Maintain records of services product usage and client preferences.
- Uphold the spas brand image service protocols and client care standards.
Requirements:
- At least with Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate
- At least 5 years solid work experience in a well-known reputable and established spa/wellness/salon industry
Qualifications:
- With TESDA Certifications (related to spa & wellness)
- Proficient in acrylic & gelish applications (including manicure & pedicure)
- Must be creative and artistic for nail arts designs using brushes
- Proficient on nail extensions nail gel and acrylic applications
- Be able to perform different massage techniques waxing and threading are added advantage
- Ability to train and conduct seminars and lectures (trainor skills)
