As a Sales Development Representative your mission is to spark meaningful conversations both inbound and outbound with new and existing fans of Cision. Whether through email phone or social channels your goal is to uncover where each prospect stands in their Cision journey and connect them to the right solution by booking qualified meetings for our Account Executives. Youll be working side by side with your AEs in a dedicated Sales Pod built to give you support momentum and shared success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Scheduling quality demos for sales team by identifying researching and contacting potential customers and ensure those demos occur.

Hitting or exceeding a monthly quota and acting as the first point of contact for potential clients while executing marketing and sales tactics.

Making outbound outreach activities; customized emails cold calls DMs monitoring relevant forums review sites social networks

Learning and using sales enablement tools

Prospecting quality contacts and accounts that are a best fit for using the Cision platform while partnering with sales colleagues to ensure that opportunities are moving forward

Collecting market data before and during customer outreach to understand prospective customer needs and effectively communicate those needs to the sales team

Become an expert with the Cision products and services buyer types and the tools necessary to be successful: Salesforce CRM Salesloft or similar Microsoft Outlook LinkedIn etc.

Begin to expand your knowledge of Cisions broader Sales methodology and sales cycle

Qualifications:

An individual with a passion to start / grow a career within Sales.

You are fully bilingual (French and English) both spoken and written to effectively communicate with clients across Canada.

An interest in moving to a consultative Sales position within a software company.

You bring innate hunger real self-motivation and a strong sense of accountability to everything you do

Be confident running high-volume pipelines in dynamic quick-moving and rapidly changing environments.

This position requires an advanced knowledge of written and spoken English since you will have weekly interactions with other employees and clients based outside Quebec.
