About the Role:
As a Sterilisation Technician with the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) you will contribute to the safe and effective operation of sterilisation services. Working under limited direction you will perform a range of sterilising dutiesboth independently and as part of a teamincluding determining and evaluating work methods managing stock supply and maintaining high standards of infection control.
You will be responsible for ensuring equipment is correctly sterilised and delivered to wards as needed and for maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with best practice standards. Your work will directly support the safety of patients and staff by ensuring reliable access to sterile instruments and medical supplies.
To be successful in this role you will have completed an AQF Certificate III in Sterilising Technology and bring a strong understanding of sterilisation practices in a healthcare setting. This is a part time vacancy working64 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
