We are looking for a Business Analystto support our client based in Tallahassee Florida.
US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.
This is an on-siteposition. Candidates must be located in or near Tallahassee Florida.

The Opportunity
Our client a government agency in Tallahassee FL is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Application Services team. The analyst will support full lifecycle agile development initiatives working across business units to gather requirements analyze processes and coordinate testing activities. This position requires strong analytical skills SQL proficiency experience in Azure DevOps and knowledge of Florida IT project management standards.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead business process and system analysis efforts across departments
- Facilitate joint analysis workshops with stakeholders
- Translate requirements into user stories in Azure DevOps
- Create process maps and documentation using Visio
- Coordinate with data migration testing and QA teams
- Create and execute test plans and review deliverables for quality
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a full-time contract position with possibleextensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $90000per year. Medical dental vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Qualifications you need
A successful Business Analyst has the following experience:
- Bachelors degree or masters degree in Business Administration Communication Information Systems or a related field
- 5 years in business process/system analysis
- Strong experience in SQL and data analysis
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Proficient with process mapping tools (e.g. Visio)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for backlog and story management
- Knowledge of Florida Administrative Code Rules 60GG-1 to 60GG-5
- Agile project experience
- CBAP or CSM certification
- Experience with change/release management and data migration
- Knowledge of testing and QA methodologies
