Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Associate to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the rooftop solar industry. This role involves lead generation client acquisition and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities in the rooftop solar market.
- Build and maintain relationships with residential commercial and industrial clients.
- Collaborate with technical/project teams to develop customized solar solutions.
- Generate leads via cold calling networking referrals and digital marketing.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure smooth project handover.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly/quarterly/annual targets.
- Partner with real estate developers architects and corporates for bulk installations.
- Coordinate with marketing to design high-quality lead generation campaigns.
- Use social media digital platforms and offline events to attract prospects.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through post-sales follow-ups.
- Gather client feedback for product and service improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Engineering or Renewable Energy (MBA preferred).
- 3-7 years of experience in sales business development or project management within the solar sector.
- Proficiency in CRM tools MS Office and digital marketing.
- In-depth knowledge of rooftop solar systems net metering and financing models.
- Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a competitive market.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in the renewable energy sector especially rooftop solar.
- Existing network in real estate industrial or commercial sectors.
- Familiarity with government solar policies subsidies and incentives.
