Rutgers School of Health Professions ( SHP ) is seeking a Student Assistant to work in the Rehabilitation & Movement Science Department. The Student Assistant will assist during communication sessions involving Speech-Language Pathology students and Spanish Portuguese-speaking adults in a community program. Responsibilities include providing consecutive interpretation and translating printed materials. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Maintaining records. Organizing equipment and materials. Perform other related duties as assigned. Understands and adheres to Rutgers compliance standards as they appear in RBHSs Corporate Compliance Policy Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.

New Jerseys academic health center Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences ( RBHS ) takes an integrated approach to educating students providing clinical care and conducting research all with the goal of improving human health. Coursework and practical training at the Translation & Interpreting Program Department of Spanish and Portuguese Rutgers University Newark NJ is preferred but not required.
