Job Description
The Resident Maintenance Technician 4 is responsible for daily troubleshooting repair and maintenance of the Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) at the McDonough GA site location. Act as a senior technician aiding and mentoring lower-level employees on all Dematic-installed equipment.
Sunday to Wednesday (4 days 10 hours shifts). Actual start time to be determined (Estimated start time between 4 PM and 8 PM). Occasional overtime may be required.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be between $33 to $37.50 an hour at the time of posting. Various factors including work location education experience knowledge and skills will determine final compensation.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In This Role:
- Repair maintenance and cleaning of AGVs including vehicle calibrations configuration/adjustment of replacement devices and lubrication of components.
- Routine preventative maintenance tasks and testing to ensure AGVs meet specifications.
- Hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting using hydraulic schematics.
- Electrical repairs and troubleshooting using electrical schematics (5V to 480V).
- Troubleshooting of industrial communication networks and devices.
- Complete work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including relevant data such as labor hours maintenance and repair notes and charge parts used.
- Troubleshoot complex AGV problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
- Respond to operational support calls to assist operators with more complex AGV faults. Provide training assistance to AGV operators as needed.
- Proactively identify and rectify recurring problems using system reporting as part of the continuous improvement process.
- Locate and maintain accurate spare parts inventory using an inventory management system.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Typically an Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.
- Demonstrates a senior-level knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
- Proven experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key tasks as presented above.
- Ability to be customer facing while maintaining professional communications through email and in person conversations with onsite customer leadership Dematic leadership and technicians.
- Responsible for leading projects teams and directing day to day operations and tasks to onsite maintenance team.
- Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each
- Regular bending lifting stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds
- Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation
- Working conditions may include small spaces dust fumes/odors hot/cold temperatures inside/outside noise vibration standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces
