Job Summary

The intern will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Stewardship and Donor Events and the Development Graduate Assistants. Responsibilities will focus on implementing high level donor event registrations assisting with donor event and hospitality plans as well as assisting with efforts to strengthen the university and donor relationship through donor event interactions at special events.

ISU Athletics Interns play a vital role in the success of hospitality programs as well as special events at Illinois State.

Student interns are the first team members that guests meet when they arrive to the Aaron Leetch Club basketball donor rooms and other donor/fan areas. They are responsible for welcoming guests while checking their tickets and affixing wristbands. Student workers are stationed at the entrances to the club suite and tent areas - readily available to direct guests answer questions and control access to the levels in order to protect the exclusivity. Student workers also assist with setting up monitoring and taking down beverages and food for events.

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
