Job Description

AtParadigm Housing Group were committed to delivering high-quality customer-focused services across our communities. Were looking for a proactive and detail-orientedParalegalto join our friendly Legal team and play a key role in supporting the efficient management of housing related legal matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in civil litigation and housing law to develop their career in a fast paced purpose driven organisation. Youll work closely with our in-house legal team supporting a wide range of cases and helping to ensure our services are delivered with professionalism and integrity.

We operate a hybrid model of working with two days in our modern air conditioned offices (free parking) and 3 days remote. This ensures a balance of colleague interaction and reduced commute.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Managing your own caseload of civil litigation matters including access injunctions disrepair and housing management cases.
  • Drafting legal documents such as claim forms pleadings witness statements and court bundles.
  • Conducting legal research liaising with courts and preparing disclosure materials.
  • Providing administrative support to the Legal team including file maintenance invoicing and correspondence.
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with legal queries and contributing to training and knowledge sharing.
  • Assisting with financial record-keeping and legal spend tracking.

What Youll Bring:

  • A degree in Law (OR equivalent) with an LPC BPC OR CILEX qualification preferred.
  • Experience managing a caseload in a legal environment ideally within social housing private practice or local authority.
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and legal processes.
  • Excellent drafting research and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in legal databases and Microsoft Office.
  • A full UK driving licence.
