Job Description
- Under general supervision plans and coordinates educational activities for nursing staff which shall be directed toward the achievement of excellence in patient care. The Clinical Nurse Educator is a registered nurse who serves as a clinical expert educator and change agent in the assessment development implementation and evaluation of staff development programs.
Qualifications :
- To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. The specific job duties may be changed by the Department Director with or without prior notice based on the needs of the organization.
- To qualify for the position the candidate must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and possess a BS in Nursing and 3 years recent clinical experience. Certification in area of specialty is desired.
