Job Description
Location: Windsor ON
Shift: Monday Friday
Start time: 8:00 AM
Wage: $22$28/HR (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate take-offs from mechanical drawings for HVAC and construction projects
- Review and analyze tender packages including drawings specifications and bid documents
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and compiling bid submissions
- Support senior estimators in reviewing proposals for accuracy and completeness
- Attend job site visits pre-bid meetings and post-bid debriefs as required
- Coordinate with contractors vendors and clients to resolve tender-related inquiries
- Maintain well-organized records of estimates proposals and related documentation
Requirements:
- 25 years of experience in construction estimating (HVAC experience preferred)
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or a related field
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication organizational and analytical skills
- Valid drivers license
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Two professional references required
