The Behavior Specialist reports directly to a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and will provide clinical support to the group homes located in Ocean and Monmouth county.
Salary: $60000
What we look for in YOU:
- Assist BCBA with the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors.
- Consultation on ISP Plan Goals/Objectives as well as environmental supports.
- Training oversight and monitoring of direct support professionals with respect to behavioral support and therapeutic interactions.
- Data collection and inputting data into excel database.
- Input notes regarding behavioral services.
- Provide specific number of hours of services per consumer in required settings per week.
- Conduct observations and integrity assessments of BCBAs current BSP per Individual.

Qualifications
Youd make a great Behavior Specialist if you have:
- Masters in behavior analysis psychology or a related field and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- At least 2 years providing behavior support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Intellectually /Developmentally Disabled clients
- Be 18 years of age or older (required).
- Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
- Have a valid non-provisional drivers license.
- Solid interpersonal skills required to work as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience and skills in presentations
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication experience
