The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks to employ a Clinical Director at an open rank. The Clinical Director of Gastroenterology will manage the clinical operations working with the Division Chief on clinical strategies and program development of the Division. This position ensures high-quality patient care operational efficiency and alignment with the organizations mission and strategic goals. The Clinical Director will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams oversee an Assistant Clinical Director and Professional Practice Track General Gastroenterology Faculty and maximize all faculty clinical productivity. They will work with the Sr. Practice Manager to oversee clinical staff and support the research and education missions and initiatives within the Division. Some duties may include: overseeing practice operations ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality patient care developing clinical protocols ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices leading quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety identifying operational challenges and implement solutions to improve services and other duties as assigned.
