OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The BI Engineer / Visualization & UX Focus is responsible for analytics and design. They build executive dashboards embedded operational reports and story-driven visualizations that help our stakeholders act with confidence.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI (including embedded use)
- Collaborate with the PO and stakeholders to deliver intuitive user experiences
- Ensure consistency in themes layouts and visuals across reports
- Train business users on self-serve capabilities and insights exploration
- Support operational teams with ad hoc analysis and report enhancement
- Other duties as assigned
- ALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies procedures standards and guidelines and act accordingly.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years in BI development analytics or data visualization roles
- 2 years of experience delivering BI solutions using Power BI apps and workspaces within Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with implementation of row-level security and management of access via Azure Active Directory security groups
- Deep proficiency in Power BI (DAX bookmarks drill-throughs themes)
- Attention to design usability and stakeholder empathy
- Bonus if youve worked in regulated or high-volume service environments
- Experience embedding Power BI reports into third-party applications a strong plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with prompt engineering and human-in-the-loop AI workflows preferred
- Masters in AI in Business (MS-AIB) Information Systems (MS-ISM) or equivalent technical program preferred
