Who are we looking for

We are looking for a skilled Visualization Modeler with animation experience to join our innovative team in Ontario. This role will involve creating high-quality 3D models animations and immersive environments for projects in Unreal Engine. You will also work with Blueprints to implement interactive features and develop mixed reality solutions that engage users in new and exciting ways.

As a Project Team Lead you will oversee a team of talented 3D artists in the creation of high-quality assets and environments for real-time applications using Unreal Engine in support of our major project delivery requirements. You will ensure that the development of all content for the project complies with the technical accuracy and structure for our Unreal templates and that production timelines are maintained. You will collaborate closely with designers animators and developers to ensure assets meet both aesthetic and performance standards and foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

• Create detailed 3D models textures and materials for characters environments and props using software such as 3DS Max Maya Blender or ZBrush.
• Develop and implement character rigging and animations ensuring smooth and realistic motion.
• Design and build immersive environments in Unreal Engine focusing on user experience and interactivity.
• Utilize Blueprints to implement game mechanics interactive elements and dynamic features within the Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to create mixed reality experiences that integrate virtual and physical elements.
• Feasibility Studies: Optimize models and animations for performance in real-time environments ensuring visual fidelity and smooth gameplay.
• Stay updated with industry trends tools and best practices related to 3D modeling animation and mixed reality development.
• Requirements Management: Identify elicit and document project/process requirements using appropriate modeling technique if required. Analyze requirements and validate with original users eliminating confusion. Define the testing scripts and verification criteria to ensure requirements are met. Maintain documentation and traceability throughout project.
• Business Requirements Identification: Collect business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews document analysis workshops and workflow analysis to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
• Documentation and Backup: Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.
• Enterprise Business Analysis: Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
• Culture of Innovation: Support a culture of innovation by contributing to solutions that boost creativity innovation and collaboration such as idea generation platforms jam sessions and hackathons.
• Business Case: Carry out feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to contribute to the development and continuous review of business cases.
• Application Software Development: Contribute to development of existing and new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Contribute to development of new applications to meet customer requirements.
• Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
• Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.

• Bachelors degree in Art Game Design Animation or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience creating 3D models and animations for games or interactive applications with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in modeling software (e.g. 3DS Max Maya Blender) and texturing tools (e.g. Substance Painter).
• Strong experience with Unreal Engine including asset integration Blueprints and animation implementation.
• Solid understanding of rigging and animation principles with the ability to create lifelike movements.
• Familiarity with mixed reality development and best practices for integrating virtual content with real-world elements.
