Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
The VP Finance - Operations is responsible for managing the financial health of the operations organization driving cost efficiency process improvements and supporting strategic initiatives through strong financial stewardship and technology enablement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full financial outlook for the operations organization including annual planning forecasting and variance analysis
- Provide regular reporting and insights on financial trends and business performance
- Maintain a strong internal control framework to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
- Oversee accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiencies through continuous process improvement
- Support and lead departmental initiatives such as RFPs vendor analysis spend management and benchmarking
- Provide financial training and guidance to analysts or business partners
- Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and positive team morale
- Support the Director in day-to-day business operations
- Lead the implementation and administration of systems supporting operations finance and vendor management
- Ensure seamless integration between financial systems and the corporate ERP
- Partner with IT to support system upgrades enhancements and troubleshooting
- Own the operational tech roadmap and monitor the project portfolio
- Maintain SharePoint and intranet content relevant to operations finance and reporting
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or Technology. Advanced degree or CPA preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience including:
- Knowledge of SOX or other internal control frameworks
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with sound business judgment and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Experience with spend management systems or financial technologies
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional or global collaboration
**This role is in office based 5 days per week at our Midtown Atlanta Global Headquarters**
