Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Canada) Inc. is looking for a detail-driven and collaborative Junior Business Analyst to support enterprise-wide reporting and data visualization initiatives. To visualize to each company enterprise the data it needs to succeed and grow both its people and the organization.
This role partners closely with all teams including the Information Systems Human Resources and Finance teams to gather validate and align operational and financial data for use in enterprise dashboards. The successful candidate will help define KPI metrics support dashboard development and enhance data usability across departments.
This role is critical in ensuring that teams have access to timely accurate and actionable insights that support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IS and Finance teams to collect and validate key operational and financial data.
- Ensure data integrity standardization and consistency across systems.
- Support the mapping of data sources to enterprise KPIs and dashboard requirements.
- Assist in developing and maintaining departmental dashboards using tools such as Power BI Tableau or Excel.
- Translate business needs into user-friendly data visualizations and reports.
- Monitor dashboard functionality and troubleshoot data issues as needed.
- Review and refine KPIs and data sources to align with business goals and evolving needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance dashboard relevance usability and decision-making value.
- Support teams in interpreting data and leveraging insights to guide strategy and performance.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure data requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
- Assist departments in understanding and utilizing dashboards for performance tracking and reporting.
- Maintain documentation on data sources reporting logic and dashboard standards.
- Identify and recommend improvements to streamline data collection analysis and reporting workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Excel SQL or scripting tools for data manipulation.
- Interest in organizational design systems thinking or business transformation.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Business Information Systems Data Analytics or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in business analysis data analysis or reporting (co-op/internships accepted).
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).
- Understanding of data structures databases and basic financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail critical thinking and communication skills.
Work Location: In-office environment that is currently 3 days per week

Compensation: $55000 - $70000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
